Lane Community College will not sponsor or support travel by staff or students to areas with current travel advisories from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), US State Department, or similar national or international organizations.

This policy includes, but is not limited to, staff exchanges, Cooperative Education placements, volunteer activities, and professional travel.

Persons on college-sponsored travel in an area for which a travel advisory has been issued are encouraged to return to the United States as quickly as is prudent.  Once students return to the U.S., the college will work with them to develop alternative activities to complete the initial credits as planned.  Persons returning from areas with travel advisories will be expected to follow the guidelines from appropriate agencies.
