Narrative:

Employees who use their personal credit cards for travel or other approved, college-related business may earn reward points, bonuses or Frequent Flyer Miles as a result of such purchases.  These bonuses/rewards are part of the employee's benefit compensation package, and may be used by employees as they choose, unless the terms of a grant or sponsorship do not permit.  Since these bonuses/rewards are now considered a form of compensation, any change in the current policy will be subject to negotiation with the appropriate union representatives.
